This update fixes some issues with compatibility with Internet Explorer in the latest update to Windows 10. We have upgraded our back end error reporting so we now get more comprehensive error information, allowing us to be more proactive about finding and fixing any issues.

Staff Training Courses

We have added some new fields added to training

Authorising body (optional)

Allows you to describe the authorising body for this training where applicable.

Next renewal date

The date at which this training must be repeated

Next reminder date

The date you wish to be reminded to start organising refresher training. As there may be a lead time to get a space on a refresher course this may be days or weeks prior to the renewal date to prevent a gap in any certification.

Send email reminders to

Staff User Rights

IMPORTANT CHANGE

We have added new security right “Staff” that controls who has access to amend staff details – existing sites will need to add this right to the site admin and any staff that need to edit staff. See the help section on User Roles.

As a site admin you will need to add the right Staff to at least one user. To do this follow these steps

Login to GuildLink

Choose Accout | Site Admin

Select a site to work with (most users only have one site)

Choose Edit users

Select the user  you want to allow to amend and view staff information

In the dropdown box "Choose a Security role" select staff and then click add

AddStaffRole

General Changes

When you select staff throughout GuildLink you can now easily filter active staff only.

In the view SOP screen the default filter now hides SOPs marked as obsolete.

All grids now support alternating row colours for improved readability.

Notes_16x16 NOTE:

You may find that if you have embedded styles in your text for example in the SOP Purpose that the selected row has white text on a light blue background which can be difficult to read.

whitetext

This is usually where additional formatting has been copied from text that was copied and pasted from MS Word. To fix this simply select all of the text and choose the foreground font as black
