Role_32x32 Roles

It's import to understand how roles work . By default a user will belong to some PSL controlled roles that control if they can access modules within GuildLink such as GuildLink and AuditLink. If more modules are created then more roles will be created to manage access.

 

If a user belongs to a role then they will have access to sections of the system that are relevant. If the user does NOT belong to a role then they will either not see the menu item or they will not be able to such as AuditLink.

 

When a new site is added it starts out inactive and PSL must activate it.

 

A new user will be automatically be given

GuildLink

Controls access to GuildLink as a whole



AuditLink

Allows access to Edit SOPs etc.



AuditLinkDeleteContent

This role enables the delete button on SOPs, Policies etc.



ContentReviewer

Users need this to be able to confirm that they have read and understood any SOPs that they need to use as a part of the job title. A user can be a Content Reviewer without having access to full AuditLink. It is a restricted role that has a single purpose.

 

Suggestion_16x16 If you want to have a user who can only review SOPs but not edit them add this role and remove the AuditLink role.
